Enoch Harrison & Son Ltd was founded in 1880 by our great-great-grandfather, Enoch Harrison. Originally based in Cross Hills, the company relocated to Cononley in the 1930s. From there, it was passed down through the generations, first to Enoch's son Stow, and later to his sons Frank, Enoch and Arthur.
The business was then passed on to Mike, Dale and John - the 4th generation - in 1988. During this time, Dale's wife, Valerie, also worked supporting the office. Mike retired in 2008, leaving Dale and John to continue leading the business. Dale and Valerie retired at the end of 2024, and in 2025, John is stepping back as director, making way for the 5th generation of Harrisons to take the reins.
Today, Josh, Richard, Ruth and William are leading the business into its next chapter. The team is also supported in the office by Richard's wife, Lucy. Looking ahead, members of the 6th generation of the Harrison family are beginning to get involved in the company as well.
